of love from them. He is a smart, sweet, handsome boy and has the most

beautiful puppies. We are so very lucky to have him!

She is the comedian of the group. She is just funny, hard to explain but she just makes me laugh,

even when she was a puppy. She loves to go on trips and is so much fun

to have around.  She has turned out to be a great mom with

her first litter, which she had on our living room sofa and nursing her puppies till

they leave her.

Carmel is now retired and living a life of lesiure. She was a great mom and had adorrable puppies.
Koa, Harley and Cookie are all her babies. She lives with us and she is the most wonderful dog.

She is both extremely loving and well behaved. She is a gentle soul but also believes she is a guard

dog.  She is my shadow and follows me absolutely everywhere.  She is my husbands favorite even
though I tell him he should not have favorites! She is not ALAA registered as of
yet, but she does qualify for registry.

About Our Guardian Home Program allows for local families to have a wonderful dog, for just a fraction of the price. The Guardian Home dog will be a part of Darlin Doodles breeding program.  The breeding rights are retained Darlin Doodles for a specific time to be determined by us.  Once the Guardian Dog has completed their breeding career, they will be spayed or neutered at our expense, your Guardian adoption deposit is returned in full, and the dog will remain your forever pet.

The cost of a Guardian Home dog/puppy requires a deposit of 1/2 of the standard pet price. When the Guardian dog has completed its breeding career for us, we will refund the entire deposit back to you, for participating in our Guardian Home Program.

Our Guardian Home Families are responsible for the general routine veterinary care and wellness of the Guardian puppy/dog placed with them. This means annual vaccines, feeding a high quality dog food, grooming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, training, regular exercise and socialization, and most importantly all the love and care and attention possible :-)

Any “breeding related” medical costs for the Guardian Dog are the expense of Darlin Doodles. Our Guardian Homes are only responsible for routine maintenance and medical care just as they would if they had their own dog.

A Guardian Family gets the very best that Darlin Doodles has to offer! This means that we choose our breeding stock based on the best qualities that are outlined in our breed standard with temperament of course coming first. Another wonderful benefit to our Guardian Families is that their Guardian dog or puppy will be completely health tested by 12 months of age (some tests may be done as early as 16 weeks  of age) at the expense of Darlin doodles prior to entering our breeding program at no cost to the Guardian Family.  Our Guardian Families get to enjoy the excitement of being a part of our breeding program, and seeing the offspring of their very own Guardian dog be placed with families across the country bringing others the same joy and happiness that they have received from their Guardian Dog!

What Are The Requirements to Become A Guardian Home?

To be considered as a Guardian Home for one of our breeding dogs, we require that you live within 60 miles of our home. It is necessary that you have physical fencing to provide a safe and secure environment for the Guardian dog, and have a schedule that will allow for your dog to not be left alone for extended periods of time. All dogs and pups placed in Guardian Families must be indoor dogs, and never be left outside unattended.

When the Guardian dog is in season, the Guardian Family is required to contact us immediately. An intact female usually has a heat cycle that will last between 14 and 21 days. During this time, we will need access to her for breeding related appointments. Once she has been bred, she will remain with her Guardian Family until one week before her due date. At that time, the Guardian dog will come back to stay with us throughout her pregnancy, and will be returned once her pups are fully weaned. Guardian Families are welcomed and encouraged to visit with scheduled appts while their Guardian Dog.

If you are applying for a Guardian Home puppy, she will come to you at 8 weeks of age. During the first year, Darlin Doodles will have her health testing completed. Once we receive all of the results from her health testing, we are then able to assess whether or not she will enter our breeding program. If for any reason we decide not to breed the Guardian Puppy placed with you (this is a decision solely made by us) we will then pay to spay the Guardian puppy at no cost to you, and she will remain a forever family pet with you.

If you are receiving a Guardian Home Puppy, we ask for monthly photos and updates during the first year so that we can watch her develop, and update our website. We also will require a visit to our Guardian Family’s home every few months during the first year to assess the Guardian Puppy, as well as build a relationship with her for the future. Occasionally, we will ask our Guardian Families to bring the puppy to us for a visit so that she can get comfortable with our home for when she will be here with us in the future having babies.

Most of our Guardian dogs will have between 2-3 litters for us. The health and well being of our breeding dogs is a priority to us.

If you are interested in applying to be a Guardian Family please take the time to fill out adoption application first, and we are happy to contact you to discuss Guardian Home opportunities available!

Thank You for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you!

About Us

We are Cindy & Ron Stickney, owners of Darlin Doodles where we pride ourselves in raising the best companions to become a new part of your family!

I am a Childcare provider with a small family daycare in our home. My husband Ron is a General Contractor, owner of J & R Construction. We have 5 grown kids and 5 adorable grandchildren.  We live on a beautiful ranch styled piece of property located in sunny Yorba Linda, California.  We have been animal lovers all of our lives, from our dogs and cats, to our horses, chickens, & bunny!

Our animals are not pets, but part of our family. All of our puppies are constantly monitored & handled for socialization purposes, and we are extremely experienced in our training and care!  We first looked in to Labradoodles due to my Son in Laws and grandchildren’s allergies, and after doing some research on their breed we quickly came to realize how perfect it would be to introduce one into our home! One Labradoodle quickly turned into two, & then three. We have two girls, Carmella and Bandy, as well as an adorable little boy named  Heart Breaker!

About Our Dogs

All of our amazing dogs live in our home with us.

Koa, Kitty, Harley, Bandy, & Breaker come from a long line of Multi generation Labradoodles. We particularly focus on breeding dogs with amazing temperaments who will make great therapy dogs or family companions. All of our dogs parents are tested and cleared of any and all health problems that could possibly be bred into our puppies before hand! So rest assured your are getting the happiest and healthiest puppy(s)!

Your puppy will arrive up to date with all of their current vaccinations, as well as a 2 year health guarantee.  In addition they will be crate trained, almost potty trained. Socialization is important to us, they will have been socialized by being around, friends and family, our other dogs, my daycare kids, our chickens, horses, and our cat!
